- BON JOVI EARNED AN AWARD : The RECORDING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (RIAA) are the folks who certify records as gold, silver or platinum according to the number sold. 1999 marks the beginning of a new tradition. The RIAA has created THE DIAMOND AWARD. THE DIAMOND AWARD is presented to artists whose album sells TEN (10) MILLION or more copies. On Tuesday, MARCH 16th, the RIAA presented the first set of these awards to a handful of artists who have qualified for this rare honor at Roseland Ballroom in NYC. BON JOVI is receiving an award for the sales of SLIPPERY WHEN WET. Tico Torres and David Bryan represented the group and accepted the award on behalf of the entire band (Jon is on the set of U-571 in Rome and Richie was out of the country as well.) There were just 62 albums that were eligible for the award. Other honorees include Boston, Eric Clapton, Def Leppard, Billy Joel, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney, ZZ Top, Journey, AC/DC and James Taylor. ^_^x (21/03/99)

- BON JOVI REMASTERED CDs : In case you don't know, Bon Jovi has released 5 remastered CD albums in some places in the world. Each of them included a music video, "In and Out Of Love" on 7800° Fahrenheit, "Wanted Dead Or Alive " and a screensaver on Slippery When Wet, "Lay Your Hands On Me" on New Jersey, "Keep The Faith" on Keep The Faith and "These Days" on These Days.
