One-year Postgraduate Scholarships
British Chevening Cambridge Scholarships
- Three scholarships offered annually in collaboration with the FCO for students from the Philippines .Citibank Cambridge Scholarship
- One scholarship offered from time to time in collaboration with Citibank
for study in Finance or Economics for students from a number of countries including the Philippines .Shell Centenary Cambridge Scholarships
- Up to ten scholarships offered annually in collaboration with Shell International
for study in Applied Sciences and Technology, including Environmental Sciences, Business Management and Economics for students from a number of countries outside the Commonwealth including the Philippines .Tate & Lyle/FCO Cambridge Scholarships
- Up to ten scholarships offered annually in collaboration with Tate & Lyle PLC and the FCO for students from a number of countries including the Philippines.Doctoral Scholarships
- The Trust has no full-cost awards for citizens of the Philippines who wish to pursue a course of research leading to the degree of PhD. They may, however, apply for a part-cost assistance. The value of the bursary is determined in the light of the financial circumstances of the applicant.
*** Successful applicants will be expected to return to their home country at the end of their course of study.Value Scholarships for one-year postgraduate courses of study will cover:
- the University Composition Fee at the overseas rate
- approved College fees
- a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single student

Fulbright Awards Available to Filipino Citizens
- Graduate Student Awards : For degree or non-degree study in the United States. Degree awards are for master's or Ph.D studies. Non-degree awards are for doctoral enrichment or dissertation research for grantees who are pursuing their Ph.D. studies in the Philippines. Awards cover travel, tuition, monthly maintenance, books and professional activities, and health and accident insurance. Applications for the awards are accepted by PAEF between February and May of every year. Awards are made through open competition and are based on individual merit without regard to the applicant's institutional affiliation, ethnic background, religion, or geographical location. All fields are eligible except medicine, nursing, engineering, applied mathematics and applied sciences.*** Advanced Research and University Lecturing Awards : These awards are given to academics for conducting research or lecturing in the United States. Awards cover travel, tuition, stipend, books, and professional activities, and health and accident insurance. Applications are accepted by PAEF between September and November of every year. All fields are eligible except medicine, nursing, engineering, applied mathematics and applied sciences.
HUBERT H. HUMPHREY FELLOWSHIPS
- The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program sends outstanding mid-career Filipino professionals in public service from both the public and private sectors to the United States for a year of university study and work-related practical experience. Fellowships are granted competitively in the fields of natural resources and environmental management, public policy analysis and public administration, economic development, agricultural development, finance and banking, human resource management, urban and regional planning, public health, technology policy, educational planning, law and human rights, and communications/ journalism. Application period is from June to August.FULBRIGHT-PHILIPPINE AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
- Fulbright-Philippine Agriculture Scholarship Program (FPASP) grants are awarded to eligible Filipinos working at theDepartment of Agriculture and its affiliate agencies, faculty from accredited state and private colleges and universities offering programs in agriculture and fisheries, and professionals from non-government organizations, government financial institutions, and other government and private agencies whose main work is in agriculture and fisheries.Benefits and Qualifications:
Fully funded awards cover such costs as international travel, tuition and fees, monthly maintenance allowance, books and supplies, and health and accident insurance.
Applicants must be 40 years old or younger, and have at least two years of relevant work experience.
Fulbright-CHED Scholarship Program for the Mindanao Advanced Education Project (MAEP)
-1999 marked the first year of the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) involvement with the Fulbright Program with its contribution to a scholarship fund supporting non-degree research awards for faculty of universities in Mindanao belonging to the Mindanao Advanced Education Project (MAEP). PAEF administers the program and provides additional financial support for the U.S. fellowships. Awards are given in the fields of peace studies, information technology, mathematics, and the sciences, education, language teaching, and agriculture.
Fulbright - SyCip Family Foundation Fund for American Studies
-PAEF administers the Fulbright-SyCip Family Foundation Fund for American Studies through a generous grant by the Washingon SyCip Family Foundation. The Fund brings a distinguished American professor to the Philippines to lecture in the fields of American foreign policy, American economic policy or American business practices. The objective of the Fund is to promote good relations between the Philippines and the United States.
