| Allen A. Carr Funeral services
for Allen A. Carr, 82, of Willowick, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary
Magdalene Church, 460 E. 321 St., in Willowick. Mr. Carr died Aug. 9,
2004, at LakeWest in Willoughby.
Born Jan. 25, 1922, in Cleveland, he lived in Willowick for the past
55 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also a
member of American Legion Post 678, in Willowick, St. Mary Magdalene
Church, Accounting Associations IMA Cleveland East Chapter, and former
civil service commissioner for Willowick. Mr. Carr worked as a CPA for
Caterpillar for 28 years, retiring in 1981. Previously, he worked at Tow
Motor.
Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Carol; children, Coleen
Armstrong, Timothy (Sul Ja) Carr, Kevin Carr, and Gael (Donald) Windom;
seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ronald
(Jane) and Harvey Carr.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Jack Monreal Funeral
Home of Willowick, E. 320th St. and Vine St. Burial will be in Western
Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. |
