Funeral Mass for Michael Scoran, 84, of Willowick, will be 10 a.m.
Friday March 9, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 460 East 321 St.,
Willowick. Mr. Scoran died March 3, 2007, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born May 12, 1922, in Portage, Pa., he lived in Willowick the past 46
years.
He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of St. Mary
Magdalene Church, V.F.W. Post 3863 in Eastlake, Past Commander of
American Legion Post 678, 4th Degree Magnificat Knights of Columbus,
life member of AMVETS, and committee chairman of UAW Local 10.
After 31 years of service, Mr. Scoran retired from Rotor Tool in 1984,
as a tool gauge inspector and lead man.
Survivors are his brothers, Ralph (Bernadine) and Leo (Dorothy);
sisters, Mary (Nick) Pastavic, Agnes Sady, Genevieve Gloster and
Josephine (Leonard) Repko; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jennie (Andrea) Scoran;
brother, John and Edward; and sister, Martha Gallo.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Monreal Funeral Home,
35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in
Chardon Township.
