Richard Weybrecht

Funeral Mass for Richard Weybrecht, 83, of Willowick, a former service and parts manager, will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 460 E. 321 St., Willowick.

Mr. Weybrecht died Jan. 2, 2001, at Euclid Hospital in Euclid.

Born Jan. 12, 1917, in Cleveland, he lived in Euclid before moving to Willowick 50 years ago.

He was a St. Mary Magdalene parishioner since 1950, member of Holy Name Society, past president for numerous terms, 3rd degree Knights of Columbus, usher, lector and Eucharistic minister. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.

Mr. Weybrecht was formerly employed by Foote-Burte Company in Euclid.

Survivors are his wife, Geri (Lynn) (nee, Gorsuch); sons, Richard C. Jr. (Maryann) of Euclid, Ted (Laura) of Painesville Township and Raymond J. (Linda Marie) of Strongsville; daughters, Ann Slogar of Euclid and Jeanne (Dennis) Ebner of Euclid; step-daughters, Carol Lynn of Mentor, Joan Stephenson of Mentor and Dianne (Jerry) Rich of Fairport Harbor; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Dorothy) of Eastlake and W. James (Helen) of Wickliffe; and sisters, Louise Powalie of Willowick, Dorothy (Ken) DeFord of Willoughby and Helen (Richard) of Mentor.

His wife, Patricia (McFarland); brother, Robert; and sister, Joan Mancino, are deceased.

Friends may call 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Monreal-Brickman Funeral Home of Eastlake (just east of Rt. 91). Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
