This past season, Brendan Morrison greatly elevated his game to be able to center the top line with Nazzy and Bert. He is an excellent playmaker, who sees teh ice very well. Morrison was a huge part of the team's success this year, racking up season highs, like most Canucks, in goals (23), assists (44) as well as points (67). This just his sixth season in the league, he still has an extremely bright future ahead of him. He played the complete season (82 games) for the second consecutive season, and had a career-best 183 shots. In the past, Morrison played on the "speed line" with Matt Cooke and Peter Schaefer. One of Brendan's most prestigious awards to date is winning the 1996-97 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, as well as several other MVP Awards from 1995-97. Brendan was acquired along with Denis Pederson for Alex Mogilny in 1999.
