This past season, Todd had an outstanding year, posting career-bests in goals (36), assists (49) and points (85) and leading the team to an amazing stretch in January and onward, knotching a point in 17 consecutive games at one time, tied for the franchise record. Todd was one of the league's most exciting players last season, and will continue to in the future. Todd Bertuzzi played on a line with Markus Naslund and Brendan Morrison, making on of the most powerful lines for the majority of the season. His size and intimidating presence in front of the net made him a chore to compete against. He finished third in league scoring this year, only trailing fellow teammate and linemate Markus Naslund and Jarome Iginla.
