Trevor Linden Page

After a few unsuccessful stints with the Islanders, Canadiens and Capitals, Trevor Linden was reacquired on November 10th. The next night, the Canucks stomped over Minnesota 5-0 and Trevor's value was shown, winning BLANK faceoffs. Linden is a versatile player, able to play right wing and centre as needed; and both well. Linden played with the Sedins at first, and then moved to the second line with Andrew Cassels and Jan Hlavac. Trevor Linden was drafted second overall by the Canucks in the 1988 Entry Draft. Although Linden's best offensive years are behind him, his leadership and playoff experience will continue to be extremely valuable to the success of this franchise. In the past Trevor became the NHL's youngest captain in 1991-92, won the 1996-97 King CLancy Memorial Trophy and captained the Canucks to the Stanley Cup final in 1993-94. Trevor was re-acquired this season for a first-round draft pick (Boyd Gordon) to the Capitals.
