Barium Contrast Radiographic Evaluation
-12시간 Fasting
- Esophageal Study(2-5ml/kg)
-금기: 식도 천공시
- 먹일때는 Thick하고 Pasty해야함(Tablespoonful)
Procedure)
1.털에 묻은 먼지나 오물을 제거
2. 18-24시간 절식
3. 결장에 변이 차있으면 Dulcorax(5mg)-x-ray 찍기전
1시간 30분 전에. fleet enema(3시간 전에)
4. Stomach tube 로 먹임 <10 ml/ kg>
30分, 1 時間, 2 時間 간격으로 X-ray 촬영 <장관 통과는 60-180分
사이에 일어남>
5. 결장은 6시간후가 되어야 가득 차고 2-3日 동안 함유하고 있다.
Indication < 1. Non response Vomiting
2. refractory diarrhea
3. hematemesis
4. Suspected enteric foreign body
5. Suspected neoplasm & obstruction
6. Comfirmation of misplaced intestine organs.<횡격막 Hernea>
Contra Indication < 1.Perforation suspected.
2.Lower bowel obstruction suspected
-Chemical restraint needed.

Barium Medication (Enema Method)
Indication]
-ieocolic intussusception &cecal inversion
-Mechanical & functional large bowel obstruction.
-invasive lesion of large bowel.
-Mass outside of the large bowel compressing the bowel.
-Inflammation of the lower intestinal tract.
Contra indication ]
- Obstruction of the colon.
- Rupture or perfoation of the colon
Procedure ]
1. X-ray 찍기전 24시간 동안 liquid diet 만 투여 (water or broth)
2. 18-24 hrs 동안 mild 한 enema or saline laxative 투여.
3. X-ray 찍는 12時間 內irritating enema를 clear 하게 腸을
만들기 위하여 투여
4. Colon 이 깨끗한가 확인
5. Colon 內로 barium을 압력을 밀어 넣음. enema bag을 動物體
위로 18 inch 이상 올리지 말것.
6. 15-20 % barium sulfate
7. Sedation or Anathesid needed if you want to do.
8. R-L recumbency.
9. 20-30 ml/kg.
10. 2/3 정도 투여한후 X-ray 촬영
만약 colon 이 차여 있지 않으면 더 많은 Contrast M 을 넣고
< V-D 와 L-View 로 colon 이 적절하게 확장 되었는가 확인 >
11. 가능한 많은 양의 Contrast M을 제거한후 X-ray 촬영.
2ml/kg air를 넣고 (결장에) X-ray 를 찍는다.
