CONTINUE THE JOURNEY WITH ME
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this warm and sunny day! We had rain overnight but it will
be nice today with temperatures around 22 C (74 F).
I spent my half hour in prayer with Jesus this morning. He spoke to me
saying, "Melvin, I live in your heart and I love you. Our heavenly
Father called for a renewal, a new Pentecost, upon the world. All are
called to wake up from their sleep and turn their minds and hearts
toward Him. You are all called to leave your sins behind and follow the
way pointed out to you. Repent of your sins and change your life around.
As your Saviour, the Father has appointed me to work with my friends to
bring about this renewal. I will encounter you all personally to reflect
on your life, to see where you stand. Have you surrendered your life to
me? Do I live in your heart? Are you empowered by the Spirit to live a
life pleasing to the Father? Yes, my brothers and sisters, wake from
your slumber for I am knocking at the door of your heart. Come and share
your life with me for this is why you were created. As children of the
Father, your happiness lies in conforming your will to His. Leave the
attraction of the world and the kingdom of darkness behind and come into
the light. A new day is dawning, a new era is beginning, where the power
of the evil one will be diminished and I will be enthroned in your
hearts. Begin the journey today and you, who are already my friends,
continue your walk with me. I bless you all."
Christianity in many of our countries is in a poor state. The faith of
the Christians is often very shallow and many do not pray or go to
church. Many live in a state of sin and are working in league with the
evil one instead of working for God. The kingdom of darkness is
spreading more and more over the world. No wonder the Father is calling
for a renewal, a new Pentecost, in the world. He is calling us to leave
our dens of sin and return to Him. Jesus says that He will encounter
each one of us personally. He will ask us to reflect on our lives. He
will knock at the door of our heart and call us to wake up. Let us pray
for the coming of this new era when the Lord will be honoured and people
will live in union with Him.
Let us continue to pray for the sick especially Wayne Boudreau, the
Bishop of Charlottetown, Michelle and all the others. May the Lord heal
them all and make them strong.
I will go to the prayer meeting this evening at Palmer Road Church. I
will pray for you all and for the coming of the New Pentecost.
