WANT YOU CLOSE TO MY HEART
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this stormy morning! It snowed again overnight and it is
still snowing and I wonder if I will be able to go to the Manor today. I
see that the school buses did not go by this morning. It is very windy
and the snow could be piled up in places.
I went twice to Miminegash yesterday even though it was foggy and wet. I
was there for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the morning and
back again at 4:00 PM for the tasty meal by the Catholic Women's League.
In prayer early this morning, I was with Jesus and Our Heavenly Father.
Jesus spoke to me first saying, "Melvin, my friend, I love you. I ask
you to come with me to visit Our Father in heaven." I agreed
wholeheartedly and Jesus took me to His throne. We climbed the huge
flight of stairs up into the bright light of His presence. I knelt
before Him in adoration. The Father spoke to us saying, "Welcome Jesus
and Melvin, and come and sit beside me. Jesus, My beloved Son, you are
the joy of your Father; I love you. Melvin, my son, I bless you. I call
you and all my sons and daughters to enter My Kingdom which Jesus
proclaimed when He was on earth. It is a Kingdom where I am accepted as
God and Jesus is the Redeemer and Saviour and the Holy Spirit dwells in
your hearts. I wish the Kingdom to be the home of my blessed children on
earth and it will be brought to its fulfillment in heaven. You enter the
Kingdom by Baptism and you remain in it by following the commandments.
Live what the church teaches and you will be a faithful member of my
Kingdom. This Kingdom is of the heart where I make my home in you. I
have given each of you gifts which I want you to make use of in order to
come closer to me. Be humble and repent of all your sins. I want you
close to my heart. I love you."
Worship and adoration is due to God the Father for He is the Creator and
Lord of us all. He calls us all to be part of His Kingdom here on earth
which was inaugurated by Jesus as He began His public Life: "This is the
time of fulfillment. The Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe
in the Gospel." (Mark 1, 15.) The Father spoke to me this morning about
the Kingdom of which the Church is a substantial part. He wants all the
people to belong to His Kingdom for there is no salvation outside of it.
If we belong to the Kingdom then the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
make their home in us. Only mortal sin can drive God from our hearts. If
we should offend God, let us repent of our sins as soon as possible so
that He may live in us as before. We remain close to Him especially by
prayer, contemplative prayer, and by doing His will.
Let us worship Our God and live in the joy of His Kingdom.
