I  BLESS  YOU  ALL

Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good morning! When I left for Mabou it was still Autumn and the trees
were so beautiful dressed up in so many different colours. Cape Breton
was very beautiful to see. On Sunday, though, everything was white.
Winter had struck and there were at least two inches of snow on the
ground and it was cold. Driving was hazardous with blinding snow part of
the way and snow and ice on the roads. This morning the sun is shining
bright although there are some clouds but it is still white everywhere.
I don't think the snow will last. It is just a taste of what is coming
-- winter.

In my prayer this morning, Jesus took me to the throne of Our Heavenly
Father. Jesus spoke to me saying, "Melvin, I love you. Let us go and
visit Our Father in heaven." I agreed with all my heart and Jesus took
me to Our Father's throne. I knelt before Him in adoration. The Father
spoke to us saying, "Welcome Jesus and Melvin and come and sit beside
me. Jesus, My Son, your eternal sacrifice brought redemption to the
whole world. Oh! if the people would repent, your blood would wash them
all! Melvin, my son, I bless you. You thanked me for a great weekend at
Mabou. The Spirit was with you and He touched many people there. I urge
you all, my children, to attend days of intense prayer and reflection.
Modern society destroys the life of grace in your hearts and weakens
your relationship with me and with Jesus. You need to counteract this
negative influence by attending such weekends which will renew and
strengthen your life of grace. Come and open your heart to me during
these intense days of prayer and I will give you an increase of faith
and your relationship with Jesus will grow. When Jesus was on earth,
after busy days, He would take His Apostles to a secluded place and be
alone with them. In this way, they had time to listen to Him and pray.
Repent of all your sins, and I will forgive you. I am your Father who
loves you. I bless you all."

The Father referred to the weekend at Mabou. We had a full house and the
people were very open and took part in all the activities. Indeed, many
were touched deeply by the Holy Spirit. The weekend was focused on Jesus
and our relationship with Him. I presented contemplative prayer as a way
to deepen this relationship with the Lord. I had some exercises with
them and their sharing on their experiences was amazing. We all need
these days when we focus only on the Lord. We prayed the rosary together
and that too was a wonderful experience. People brought their concerns,
their problems and worries to the Lord, and I know they were helped.

Now, I have to finish my preparation for another weekend in Tignish,
P.E.I. beginning November 15 and finishing Sunday November 17. Please
pray for the success of that weekend.

May the Lord bless you and give you His peace.
