I WILL REMAIN WITH YOU FOREVER
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this dark and wet morning! Ceo and I had a wonderful visit
to Petit Rocher which is near Bathurst, N.B. We met many faith filled
Christians whose only desire is to work for the Lord. We were very well
received by our host and felt right at home. We left Petit Rocher at
4:00 PM last evening and I was at home at 9:45.
My mother bled again yesterday and we are all concerned. Please continue
your prayers.
In my prayer with the Lord this morning, Jesus spoke to me saying,
"Melvin, my brother, I love you. I blessed your trip to Petit Rocher,
New Brunswick. You met some of my friends who came to listen to you as
you spoke about contemplative prayer and also about my Mother. I touched
their hearts and healed many of them. I desire that many more of my
brothers and sisters would begin contemplative prayer, the prayer so
dear to my heart. What progress you would make, all of you, if you would
be faithful to this prayer. My life would grow in you and our
relationship would be strong. I gave all the people present at the talks
yesterday the gift of contemplative prayer. I am ready to give it to all
who ask me. Melvin, you have been contemplating for many years and you
know what a difference it has made in your life. Our daily meeting in
prayer is the highlight of your day. It has brought you close to me and
through it you receive direction for your life. This prayer helps you to
remain in union with me the whole day. In addition, you receive the
graces you need to follow me. I call you all, my friends, to change and
transform your life by daily contemplative prayer. Come and spend time
with me. I will fill your heart with my love and I will remain with you
forever. I love you."
Jesus refers this morning to my many years of contemplative prayer. I
have been praying in this way for over 20 years. It was during
contemplative prayer in 1977 that Jesus healed my eyes. I was in Church
around 6:00 AM when all of a sudden I felt fire in my eyes. It lasted
only a few seconds but it bothered me at the moment until I noticed that
I could see very well without my glasses. I had worn glasses for many
years as I was near sighted. After the experience of the fire, I went
outside and I could see very well without my glasses. I could see all
the colours and the leaves of the trees. After a week or so, I had my
eyes examined and the doctor told me these words, "You don't need your
glasses today but don't throw them away you might need them tomorrow."
It is now 25 years since this healing took place and I've never worn my
glasses not even for one day. I had my eyes examined about a week ago
and the doctor told me that my eyes were clear and there was no sign of
any trouble. I thank the Lord every day for this cure. Jesus calls us
all today to let His life grow in us through contemplative prayer.
May the Lord shower us with His grace and bring us close to Him.
