I  MAKE  ALL  THINGS  NEW

Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,

Greetings on this wet morning! I was at Tignish Church yesterday morning for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and last evening I attended the prayer meeting at Palmer Road Church. Special friends from Charlottetown came to visit me and we attended the prayer meeting together. About 50 people were present and there was a great atmosphere of prayer.

In my prayer this morning, Jesus was present and He spoke to me saying, "Melvin, I love you and bless you. The time has arrived, my dear brothers and sisters, for the beginning of the New Pentecost. My Spirit will descend anew like fire upon the earth. He will turn the hearts of all the people to me and they will be on fire to love and serve me. He will bring you all close to me. A strong bond of friendship will grow between us. I am about to bind Satan together with his legions of evil spirits and throw them where they belong. Finally you will be freed from their snares and from all your attachments to material things and your terrible addictions. Your mind and your heart will rest in me. Pray, my people, for this new time of grace to begin. The Contemplative Brothers and Sisters of mine, a community of single men and women dedicated to me by vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, will have an important role in this new era. They will make me known to many, teach the people how to pray and serve me. They will guide you as you climb the mountain of God and grow in the spiritual life. You will indeed be the members of my family and a deep bond of brotherhood will exist among us. Yes, I am making all things new. The Father will be glorified and I will accomplish your salvation in the power of the Holy Spirit. I love you all."

Jesus speaks of the new era He will soon inaugurate. The Holy Spirit is to descend in a very powerful way upon us again. The Spirit is the fire that Jesus wants to throw upon the earth and we are the kindling. Let us be enveloped in this fire from God. Jesus is building His family here among us and He wants us all to be part of it. He began 2,000 years ago but a new phase will soon begin. It is a long time that many Christians are praying for a New Pentecost upon the world and it is now about to begin. Let us prepare ourselves to receive the great gift of God. Let us climb with Jesus the mountain of the Lord. He is coming to make all things new. I pray that the Lord will strengthen our faith, put our hearts on fire, help us give our lives to Him without counting the cost and serve Him in all His suffering brothers and sisters. Let us pray that this new era will begin soon. May the fire of the Holy Spirit descend on each one of you.
