PRAY WITH GREAT FERVOUR
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this warm sunny day! It was warm yesterday and it will be
as warm today. I was at the Manor yesterday afternoon and I celebrated
Holy Mass with many of the residents. My mother was present and she
answered all the various responses as usual.
I was with Jesus and the Father during my prayer this morning. Jesus
spoke first saying, "Melvin, I love you. Let us go this morning to visit
Our Father." With joy, Jesus took me to the throne of God the Father and
we climbed the great staircase up to His presence. I knelt in adoration
of Our Heavenly Father. He spoke with great love to us saying, "Jesus
and Melvin, welcome and come and sit beside me. Jesus, my beloved Son,
you are the joy of your Father. You accomplished perfectly the
redemption of the people who were in darkness and sin. You paid the
price for indeed you are their Saviour. Melvin, my priest son, few have
had the privilege to come to my throne while still on earth. It is now
twenty five years that you come with Jesus to visit me. I have blessed
you many times and given you great gifts. Today on this special day I
confirm all that I have given you and I confer them on you to a much
greater degree. I strengthen you in your work with Jesus. Continue to
write the messages so that our words will touch many people. I call all
of you, dear sons and daughters, to take my words to heart. Pray with
great fervour for the conversion of sinners. It is shameful how Jesus
and I are treated by so many of my own children and even by priests.
Pray, offer sacrifices, go to church, receive Holy Communion often for
your own sanctification and the conversion and sanctification of the
people of the world. I bless you all."
Great happiness and joy filled my heart as I presented myself kneeling
before the majesty of the Father. His love for us His children, is felt
in everything He says. He sent His only Son, Jesus, to reconcile us
after mankind had sinned against Him. He wants us all close to Him
forever. He is saddened, though, by the refusal of so many people to
acknowledge Him and live as His children. He calls us to work harder for
the conversion of sinners. I pray that as many parishes as possible will
begin perpetual adoration to chase away the darkness of sin and live
again in the light of faith, hope and love.
On August 16, I will travel to Wedgeport, N.S., which is near Yarmouth,
for a weekend on prayer and I will have a healing Mass on Saturday
afternoon. The retreat will last three days.
Let us adore the Father and follow His will for us every day.
