BE  PART  OF  THE  NEW  PENTECOST

Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this Day of the Lord! It is cloudy now although the sun was
shining a short time ago. We had some thunder last evening but it was
rolling far away. We only had a few drops of rain.

I was with Jesus in my prayer this morning. He spoke saying, "Melvin, my
brother, you are mine, I love you. I fill you and all my brothers and
sisters who read this message with the Holy Spirit. He will bring you my
peace and joy and give you an increase of faith. He will attach you more
closely to me. The Spirit will also bring to your mind many things I
told you. He will give you a spirit of prayer and the gift of love, to
love me more ardently and to love all your neighbours and friends. Open
your heart to my great gift to you all. The Father and I sent the Spirit
upon the world at Pentecost and He changed the Apostles and those
gathered with them in the upper room in Jerusalem. He will also change
you all. The Spirit is the soul of my Church. She is a living organism
because of the Spirit who gives her life. If you love me, you will love
the Church for I am identified with my Church. The Spirit is purifying
her these days in order to remove the cancer that has been allowed to
grow in her. She will be purified and shine brightly after she has been
renewed. Be an active member of the Church and live your baptismal
consecration every day. Come often to receive me in the Holy Eucharist
provided you have repented of your sins. Be part of the New Pentecost. I
bless you all."

During my prayer with Jesus this morning, I felt great peace when Jesus
said that He was filling me with the Holy Spirit. It felt as if I was
right there in Jerusalem at the first Pentecost. Jesus calls us to open
our hearts this morning to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. He will
renew our love, our faith and our hope. Jesus will become more and more
important in our lives. Jesus identifies Himself with His Church today.
In fact she is part of the Mystical Body of Christ. We become member of
His Body and member of the Church through Baptism. The Holy Spirit is
purifying the Church these days and she will shine as before. We are
asked to love the Church and to live our baptismal consecration as a
Christian and a beloved child of God. For any Christian the greatest joy
should be the reception of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Let us prepare
well to receive Him often.

I will celebrate the Holy Eucharist at Miminegash this morning at 9:00
AM.

May the Holy Spirit renew us completely and bring us closer to Jesus,
Our Saviour and Our brother.
