ALL WHO REPENT, I WILL FORGIVE
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good morning and best wishes! What a change in the weather, yesterday
it was
so bright and sunny but today it is overcast and plenty of rain. The
farmers
might have trouble to finish picking potatoes if this wet weather
continues.
I did a lot of work yesterday answering many e-mail messages and last
evening I was in Alberton parish for the monthly meeting of the Knights
of
Columbus. I am fully rested now.
During my period of contemplative prayer this morning, Jesus took me to
visit Our Heavenly Father. Jesus began by saying, "Melvin, my brother,
I
love you. I am right here with you. Let us go to the throne of the
Father
this morning." I agreed and Jesus brought me before the Father. I knelt
down
before Him in adoration and in sorrow for my sins. God the Father spoke
saying, "Welcome Jesus, my Son, your supreme sacrifice is always before
me.
Come and sit at my right hand. Melvin, my son, wel- come and sit here
at my
left. What joy fills my heart at your visit. I love you, Melvin, and I
love
all my sons and daughters who serve me. Many people today are calling
on me
to help them. I will help you all but listen attentively to what I have
to
say. You have offended me gravely by your rebellion against me. Your
sins
have made a mockery of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. In your pride you
have
refused to obey my commandments. You have killed the unborn children by
the
millions and have wallowed in the cesspool of sexual sins. How many
have
broken their marriage vows while others live in sin. You are filled
with
greed and corruption. My people, I call you to repent of your numerous
sins.
Begin a fast and come back to the sacraments of confession and the
Eucharist. Go to Church regularly. Take time to pray daily, especially
contemplative prayer, and you will have an intimate relationship with
Jesus
and with me. Melvin, I anoint you so that you bring this message of
mine to
the world that during the present trial all may repent so I can forgive
them. May you cooperate with all the graces I send to you. I bless you
all
my children."
This morning Our Heavenly Father reveals the terrible state of the
people of
the world. We have rebelled against Him and this is especial- ly
noticeable
in the killing of the unborn, the broken marriages and the number of
people
living in concubinage. The Father is telling us that many now want to
return
to Him. He shows us the way we should go. The first thing we should do
is
repent for our many sins. He calls us to fast at least once a week. Let
us
also return to prayer and to the sacraments. All should have a close
relationship with Jesus and through Jesus to the Father. The Father's
message is addressed to all the peo- ple. If you have been following
what
the Father asks, then you should increase your good works and pray for
the
conversion of all the people in the world. In His mercy the Father
allows
this period of trial to give us time to change our lives around and to
follow Jesus. Now is the day of salvation. May the Lord anoint us with
His
grace and give us peace.
