I PRAY FOR YOU EVERY DAY
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on this dull day. We had rain overnight and it looks as if we
will have more rain today. Justin Adzi will not be coming to the World
Youth Day in Toronto because the Canadian Government refused to give him
a visa. I sent him his ticket and letter for the Embassy but last week
he was refused entry into Canada. Over 6,000 young people have now been
refused their visa. Why can't Canada relax her conditions for the youth
to come here? After all the reason to come to Canada is a very noble
one. I will work now to recuperate the money and use it for a good
cause.
In my prayer this morning I was with Jesus and Our Blessed Mother. Jesus
began by saying, "Melvin, my brother, I love you. As today is the day
dedicated to Our Mother, let us go and visit her." I happily said "yes"
and Jesus took me to her home. She greeted us saying, "Welcome Jesus and
Melvin. Jesus, my Son, you bring me great joy with your visit. Melvin,
my priest son, let me embrace you. Do come in and sit here around this
table. A great event is about to take place in Toronto, Canada. It is
the World Youth Day with the Pope. It delights my heart to see so many
youth from all over the world gathering together in the name of Jesus.
There is hope for the world because the youth are opening their hearts
to Jesus and are ready to make sacrifices in His name. Jesus and I will
be there with them and we will bless them. Dear Youth: Jesus loves you
and your happiness lies in Him alone. Without Him your life will be a
failure. Parents: teach your children all about Jesus and what He has
done for each one of you. Show them by your example how they should
follow Jesus. Pray with them and for them every day. My dear young
people, I pray for you every day that you will be Jesus' friends. My
desire is that you come to spend time with Him every day and live close
to Him. I love you all."
The great event which will unfold during the coming week fills Our Lady
with joy. Jesus and Our Blessed Mother bless all the youth who will take
part in the World Youth Day and I am sure they will bless all those who
would like to be there but for one or other reason are unable to be
present. May it be a great success and may it strengthen the faith of
all our young people. Our Lady points to Jesus and tells them that He
loves them. She wants that they build their lives on Him alone. We
cannot succeed without Jesus. She also has a word for the parents asking
them to teach the young especially to teach them by example. She calls
them all to pray and live as friends of Jesus. It is through a heart to
heart talk with Jesus every day that their friendship with Jesus will
grow.
Let us pray for the success of the World Youth Day and let us pray also
for the Pope that his health will not fail him.
