LET THE FIRE OF THE SPIRIT FILL YOU
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good morning! It is cooler this morning and not so sticky. We might get
some rain here today although it is clear in the western part of the
sky. I am rested after my trip to Wedgeport and today I am expecting my
cousin and his wife from Connecticut. They are coming to visit for a few
days.
In my prayer early this morning, I was with Jesus who took me to the
throne of Our Heavenly Father. Jesus began by saying, "Melvin, my
brother, I am Jesus. I love you. Let us go and visit Our Father this
morning." I gladly consented and Jesus took me to His throne. I adored
the Father on my knees. He spoke to us saying, "Greetings and welcome to
you Jesus and Melvin. Come and sit here near me. Jesus, you are my
beloved Son, who is the Saviour of the world. Melvin, my son, I love
you. I love all my children for I am their Father and Creator. Remain
united to Jesus, your brother and Lord, and you will have life, eternal
life. He shares His own life with those who believe in Him and do His
will. Melvin, continue to bring my children close to Jesus in intimate
friendship. I am so happy to see my people growing in their union with
their Saviour. I am giving to all who ask the grace of contemplative
prayer. Return my children to true prayer with Jesus and through Him to
me. This prayer is a powerful prayer that can pierce heaven and move my
heart. I want a transformation of the world and it can only come about
through a return to prayer. May the blood of Jesus wash you and change
your hearts. I want a new spirit in you. Let the fire of the Spirit fill
you all so that you will truly be my people and I will be your Father. I
bless you all."
What a joy it is to be with the Father! He loves us His children. He
wants our transformation and this will happen if we return to prayer. He
talks about real prayer which is the prayer from the heart. We have to
put our heart in our prayer. This happens if we contemplate because in
this prayer we are totally focused on Jesus.
He calls on the Holy Spirit to fill us with His fire so we will surely
be His people. I believe that this transformation has already begun. So,
let us pray that it spreads and many more hearts begin to burn for the
Lord.
May the Lord give you His grace and turn your heart to Him.
