MANY ARE NOW AT A CROSSROAD
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Good morning on the day dedicated to Our Blessed Mother and we celebrate
the Feast of St. Matthew, the Apostle of Our Lord. The sun is shining
bright after a cloudy day yesterday. We had some rain last evening when
I was at the hospital visiting a very sick man. I also went to the Manor
to see my mother who is remarkably well after all she went through. At
the hospital I received a cooked lobster which I brought to my mother
and she ate it with obvious delight.
At prayer this morning, I was with Jesus who brought me to visit Our
Blessed Mother. Jesus spoke to me saying, "Melvin, my brother, I love
you. I am Jesus who speaks to you every morning. As it is Our Mother's
day, let us go and visit her." I thanked Him for the invitation and He
took me to her home. Our Lady greeted us at the door and welcomed us
into her house. She spoke saying, "Greetings Jesus and Melvin, do come
in and let us sit together. Jesus, my Son, you are my joy and I love you
and embrace you. Melvin, my priest son, I am delighted to see you. I
bless you and all my children. I pray for you all that you would come
close to Jesus and live with Him. Fast and do penance, my children, as
reparation for the horrible sins committed against God every day. There
are so many blasphemies and sins against purity. The arm of God is about
to fall on the earth if the people do not repent of their sins. Come to
Jesus every day and pray from the heart. Pray, too, for the shrine I
requested on the Island. It will be an oasis of peace for many people.
Many will find healing there in body and soul. They will come to believe
in Jesus and live in union with Him. This shrine is needed now to begin
the work of restoring the faith to many that are on the verge of being
lost. The youth, too, have a need to be strengthened to fight the
pressures of the world, which are so strong on them today. Many are now
at a crossroad. A quick and right decision has to be made. Pray that the
decision will be with Jesus. I love you all."
Our Blessed Mother is a person of prayer. She loves to pray and
intercede for us, her children. She calls us to pray this morning, so
that we come close to Jesus, her Son and Our Lord. She points out that
there are terrible sins committed against God every day. We need to fast
and do penance in reparation for these mortal sins. Otherwise, there
will be chastisement for the people on earth. Our Lady again calls for
her shrine in Prince Edward Island. She says that it will be an oasis of
peace where many will be healed in body and soul. She speaks too about
the youth who need help to fight the pressures of the world. There is so
much alcohol and drugs today and many youth are involved in this. Let us
pray for them. Our Blessed Mother also says that we are at a crossroad
today. For many, they have arrived at a time in their life where they
don't know which way they should turn. Scandals and division in the
Church make them question if they should remain or leave. They are
confused. They need to take a decision and let us pray it is the right
one. One made together with Jesus. Our Lord founded the Church on the
Apostles so let us ask St. Matthew, whose feast it is today, that the
cloud over the church will soon disappear and her beauty will shine as
before.
May the Lord fill us all with His peace and love.
