I AM YOUR KING AND
YOUR GUIDE
Dear Paul, Rita and Friends,
Greetings on the Feast of Christ the King! The weather has changed with
the end of the rain but the wind and the cold has come. It is cloudy but
there are patches of blue sky so we should see the sun today.
I will be in Tignish for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 9:00
AM this morning and the second celebration will be at 11:00. A good
crowd was present last evening for the Mass at 7:00 PM.
In prayer this morning, I was with Jesus who spoke to me saying,
"Melvin, sharer in my priesthood, I love you. Today is the feast of my
Kingship when the Church proclaims that I am the King of the Universe.
Indeed all power has been given to me by My Father. I am the judge who
will come at the end of time to judge the living and the dead. I am the
King who suffered and died on the cross for all of you so that you could
be my friends and be the beloved children of My Father.
I call you all, brothers and sisters, to be an integral part of my
Kingdom. You enter by believing and accepting me as your Lord and
Saviour. Trust in me and live by every word that I have said. I need
your heart, your love, so our hearts may beat as one. I am the King who
wishes to reign in your heart and have an intense loving relationship
with each one of you. I invite you to enter my Kingdom where every
person is a relative of mine and a personal friend. Let me grow in your
heart every day for I wish to be number one in your life. I am your King
and your guide. Follow me and you will reach your destination. Work for
my Kingdom through prayer and good works. I bless you all."
The Bible proclaims Jesus as a King. Even Pontius Pilate asked Jesus if
He was a King and Jesus answered that He was. This is the time before
His return to earth to enter His Kingdom. He wants every person on the
face of the earth to belong to His Kingdom. We can only enter through
faith and by living according to what He teaches us as His Church
instructs us. What a privilege we have to receive in Holy Communion the
King of the Universe. He comes in a humble way under the appearance of
bread and wine into our hearts. Let us thank Him for His love for us.
Let us express today our love for Jesus Our King and let us promise to
follow Him every day.
