IT WAS ANOTHER NUN AND NOT SISTER LUCIA WHO REQUESTED A SPECIAL DAY OF
PRAYER

A source in Coimbra, Portugal, at the convent where Fatima seer Lucia
dos
Santos resides, has told Spirit Daily that the idea for a vigil prayer
last
week did not originate because of a new revelation given to Sister
Lucia and
was not even the seer's original idea. It started with another nun.

"What happened was that Mother Maria do Pilar, some years ago, had an
intuition that we could save the world with the blessed Rosary," says
our
source. "Mother Maria is the founder of the movement of the blessed
Rosary.
It's a movement of priests, nuns, and laity. Now, Mother Maria do Pilar
is
in Fatima. When she first came and was in the Apparitions Chapel she
remembered that the Blessed Virgin appeared with the brown Scapular.
She
associated the Rosary with the Scapular. She talked with Sister Lucia
about
this and Sister Lucia agreed. We can't separate the Scapular from the
Rosary. In the Carmel order we are celebrating 750 years of the brown
Scapular that was given to Saint Simon Stock by the Blessed Virgin, the
Mother of Carmel. For us a blessed year. A year full of grace. It's
because
of the 750 years and because of the fact that the Blessed Virgin Mary
appeared with the Scapular, as Our Lady of Carmel, that Mother Maria do
Pilar with the sympathy of Sister Lucia of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
invited all Carmelites for the prayer vigil on October 7."

Rumors had swept the world that Sister Lucia had received a new
revelation
urging a prayer vigil that day in order to stem off a coming
"bloodbath."
