PRAYER FOR DELIVERANCE FROM THE EVIL SPIRIT

"We know that those who are born of God do no sin and the evil does not
touch him. We know that we are Gods children, and the whole world is 
under
the power of the evil one(1 jn5:18-19).Still we know that the evil one 
is at
war with those keep commandments of God and holds the testimony of 
Jesus(Rev
12:17).

Hence Christian life is a warfare (Eph 6:10)Pride, greed , 
coveteousness ,
anger, sloth, envy , gluttony , lust, selfishness etc that constitute 
flesh
essentially are the platforms for satan to work. Through these various 
root
vices satan enters into one and lures and entices him to live a wicked 
and
sinful life(Jam1:14-15) It is the Lust of the eye that caused the first 
fall
of mankind.It is stupidity that caused satan to enter Judas to betray 
Jesus
.Jesus gave power to all believers to cast out demons in His name 
invoking
the power of the Cross ,commanding satan etc are trhe commonly used 
means to
save oneself fron the evil one.In Case of possession a minster with 
special
ministry of exorcism should be called

"He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into 
the
kingdom of His beloved Son,in whom we have redemption the forgiveness 
of
sins " Col 1:13

Prayer

Rescue me from my enemies O my God from my adversaries defend me O lord
.Jesus ,Saviour and my Lord , I do believe that you overcame the world 
by
crushing the head of the satan our enemy. I thank you for having given 
me
the power to drive out demons in your name before which all knees under
heaven and earth shall bend low.

Claiming the power given to me to bind the evil spirits and to throw 
them
out in your precious name right now I bind the spirit that entice me to 
sin
(specify eg excessive sexual drive ,chronic unforgiving attitude 
passionate
attachments to drinks etc) and afflictions and torments (eg pride 
,gluttony,
envy, etc) in your precious name and send them to your mighty throne of
justice where you may deal with them according to your righteousness 
(you
may here pause a while praising and thanking the Lord for delivering 
you
from the evil powers and darkness and then continue with the prayer). O
myloving Jesus keep me as the apple of your eye hide me in the shadow 
of
your wings preserve my life from all attacks of the evil spirits for I 
take
refuge in you, my Lord in to oyur hands O Lord I trust my life for you 
are
my rock ,my salvation and my stronghold and now I shall not be shaken 
any
more Amen

The continue the graces all the time

1.do a lot of singing and praises to Jesus

2.Recite psalm 91

3.Say often st. Michael prayer

4.Say the rosary often

5.Consecrate to Mother Marys Immaculate heart

6.Frequesnt reception of sacraments will strengthen you to withstand 
all the
assaults of the evil one such as confession and communion

6.You shall not visit the places of idol worship

7.Do not have recourse to sorcerors, fortune tellers palm readers 
magicians
and do not have any faith in superstitions occults ,astrology 
,witchcrafts
etc
