MLPS – Blue and Gray color Scheme

After the very well known Burgundy and Grey color scheme, Spoornet started to use a new color on all the MLPS set. The coaches had a light gray bottom, with a blue line and a Grey lines, and the top 2 thirds of the coach was painted orange. This proved to be a very bad color scheme. It did not look too bad, but the light colored bottom bit got dirty really quick. Spoornet then changed the scheme a little. The coaches had a blue bottom, with a white then orange line, and a light gray top. Both color schemes had dark gray roofs.

This page will be used for both of these variants of the scheme.

Also added here is the BJs diner coaches. Spoornet outsource the running of the diner cars on MLPS trains to a South African company known for their take away franchises next to our highways. The diner coaches are repainted in a very African color scheme, with the company logo on the side.
