About
me - first off, i'm
surprised you came to this section of my site. i'm such a boring person!
well i'll try and make it as interesting as possible. i come from an asian
background and was born here in Canada. I'm currently living in "where
country meets city". I believe its the slogan for this city.
What
i do - i guess you
could say i have a pretty cool job. i won't go into detail about it but
feel free to ask me questions about my job. Hmm, the only hint i can say
is i work in high places with a great view, and i like to 'control' as
most woman do ;)
My
interests - love
my national sport!
i've been a Canucks fan since '93 when they made it to the Stanley Cup
Finals. I am still hopeful and always will be about the cup coming home
to vancouver. Go Canucks Go! *swings white towel* I also love snowboarding.
i find it oddly entertaining everytime i fall because some how i always
end up on my back looking up the hill sliding down about 50feet before
i'm able to stop. I've finally improved enough to go down blue runs w/out
always falling on my a..
Tunes
- quite a big alternative
listener. i'm not sure if this is canadian pride, but it seems that most
of my preferred alternative music comes from canada. to mention a few:
Nickelback, Default,
Theory of a Deadman, Matthew Good Band, Stabilo, and man others. Some
softer tunes: Jann Arden, Shania Twain, Chantal Kreviazuk, Avril Lavigne,
and Sarah Mclachlan. All the mentioned are also home grown. Now.. lets
see.. i also love Josh Groban. I believe he has the most beautiful voice
in the world. he makes my heart melt everytime i listen to him. Toby Lightman
has an amazing voice. Her debut cd is titled Little Things. And a band
my good friend Dee introduced to me recently is ES Posthumus. their most
popular song can be heard in the Spiderman Movie Trailer.
Movies
and Celebs - my list
of favorite movies: Matrix
Trilogy, Underworld, ST First Contact, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon,
Beauty and the Beast, You've Got Mail, Indian Jones and the Last Crusade,
The X Files Fight the Future, and The Lord of the Rings (i'm sure i missed
a few). As for Television, the only thing i'm watching right now is the
Amazing Race. And when fall starts, Alias, Enterprise, and hopefully Battlestar
Galactica. Moving along. Annabeth Gish - I first saw her in the movie
Double Jeopardy (which happened to be filmed in Vancouver) but i never
noticed her until she joined the cast of The X Files in Season 9. She's
loyal to her fans and answers a couple questions a month on her main fan
site. Another great person i'd love to mention is Katee Sackhoff. Her
hardwork, dedication, and confidence inspires me to strive for more that
i thought i couldn't reach. Thank you KS.
Obsessions
- are they really
considered obsessions :) Hugh Jackman. i've met him twice during the filming
of X2, and i have to say
he's extremely nice, and very down to earth. I'm also a big fan of Trevor
Linden since '93. He is currently a Vancouver Canuck and wears the wonderful
'A' for Awesome and Amazing! Chad Kroeger and Ryan Peake from Nickelback.
Gerard Butler. Last but not least, Adrian Bennett. He was my snowboard
instructor, and the best instructor ive ever met :D okay. enough of my
girlish gushing.
