Foreign Investment - Project Map

The project on foreign investment stressed the importance of savings and capital formation and proper investment thereof for economic growth. It brings out the role of foreign investments in supplementing domestic savings and accelerating the growth of national economies.

The project covers the evolution of the policy of Government of India towards foreign capital in the post independent India. It describes the different types of inflow of foreign capital and how the promotional steps of the Government both regulates and encourages their inflow.
