Different kinds of experiences lead to different brain structures  -   "Forward now!" to freedom from 'aid'.

Mission/development profile

After straightforward subvertion by a neo-colonial World_Bank and its stooges/well-wishers, the next most important impediment to 'aid' free bootstrap development, is contrived/tolerated constraints on the availability and exchange of information.

Podcasting can and will be, developed and deployed as an effective solution, within network constraints identified as a by-product of recent action research involving use of Yahoo messenger.

The process of podcasting requires no more than a computer with an internet connection, a microphone, and software to record, edit and compress the audio.

Read iPodder FAQ, and Download iPodder software to equip your PC with iPod emulation ability so that it can understand  podcasts.

The next step is to publish the podcast on a website and create a feed which your listeners can subscribe to.

Not Your Usual Bollocks is an example of what can be the experience of those of your audience who have true broadband connectivity. The kpolypodcast project team will work on how to provide a worthwhile experience for those hanging on to the end of a lousy net connection like that at K-Poly.

Recap:

HOW IT WORKS
1. The podcaster records a show as an audio file.
2. Then, s/he adds a hyperlink for the show to an RSS feed on a Web server.
3. The listener's podcast software checks RSS feeds at set intervals, downloading and adding new shows to a playlist.
4. When the listener docks his/her portable player, it updates with the latest shows.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN PODCAST
1. Plug a headset with earphone and microphone into your computer.
2. Download and install free Audacity plus free LAME MP3 Encoder.
3. Install the free Audacity MP3 recorder plus free LAME MP3 encoder.
4. Make a recording, and save it as an MP3 file.
5. Upload the saved MP3 file to your Web site or blog and create an RSS feed on your site.
6. If you're likely to want to record syndicated podcasts involving geographically separated simultaneous contributors,  Download and install Skype.(more about this later).
