I drew this one a while back too. Basically, I've always liked to imagine the Mario characters dressing differently from how they're seen in the games...and I figure they are as normal as the rest of us (or at least as normal as I am...and that's not saying much!) so they probably wear normal clothes a lot of the time. I gave Mario a nice jacket and gave Peach some short shorts...and...I rather like how they look in this picture...even if the pose is uninspired. I did try to keep to a certain tradition...so...I always have Mario wearing something red, and I always have Peach wearing something pink.
