Hunter x Hunter, a series depicting a world very much like ours. In this realm, being a Hunter is the most exciting job there is. Hunters are people who seek what is rare, whether it be treasure, food or artifacts. That's what written in their brochure. In reality, Hunters protect the balance between man and nature by discovering items and finding out how to protect them. Everyone dreams of becoming a Hunter.

Each aspirant, however must pass the Hunter Test where only one out of 10,000 or 100,000 pass. To top it off, the association of Hunters will not be responsible for any accidents or deaths that may occur during the test
