My soul is the only star in this night like formation about me, this darkness apon the world is my souls only haven.
The night suspends my hearts torment and lets my dreams fly without worry.
Lets my dreams fly without worry on ebony wings in this darkness that my heart has created.
Stay for always
As I open my eyes and wipe the sweet dew of my dreams away, I see you gently smiling at me.
With your arms wrapped around me, I wake to the sweet smell of protection.
Why do you stay by my side, why do you protect me from the lonely night that I hold so dear.
Please tell me the reasons of why you stay.
And if they are true, then stay for always.

Wings of ebony wrapped around my body as if
to cover my soul with night.
Is this everlasting night so terrible?
Without light there is no pain, without light there is no love.
Is this darkness so terrible when it hides the pain of day?
Are my ebony wings the source of my pain?
Have my wings protected me from the dreaded light or have they turned my heart cold?
No my heart is warm but scarred, scarred by that dreaded light.
That light of love and pain.
Mirror
To me for finally realizing who I am
I look in the mirror everyday...
I see myself as everyone else sees me
I look in the same mirror everyone else does
But today I saw something different
What was different I didn't know at first
So I looked away...
I look in the mirror everyday
But I know what was different today
I didn't see what everyone else saw
I didn't look at the same mirror everyone else does
I looked in the mirror today
And
I saw me.
Blade
As it cuts thru my skin i am in euphoria.
The silver glisten of the blade against my
pale skin.
The pain is only momentary and then it comes.
The crimson blood, the crimson blood that
is my lifeforce.
Why does my soul long for this?
My soul yearns for an outlet to express
itself while my body yearns for the pain
that the silver glow brings.
Both combine, my body and soul, in this
expression but are still empty in the end
Forever or Just Awhile
For the person that took the time to smile at me.
A beautiful smile and deep thoughtful eyes.
You pledged your love, what a surprise.
But tell me my love with your beautiful smile
will you be mine forever or just for awhile.
Please tell me now with your thoughtful eyes,
will you dream of me forever or just for
awhile.
You Are......
You are the one I dream of at night
You are the one I see as my light
You are the one so caring, so kind
You are the one who opened my mind
You are the one I see in my dreams
You are the one the gods sent to me
You are the one for all eternity
You are my love forever to be.
