	Linda was staring out the window, Ginger was just a few feet away from her rambling on about something or other, but Linda couldn't hear a word she was saying. Ginger had come over after her & Jeff's radio show to help her get the house ready. Becky's fiance was flying in from Maine to meet the family. A car door slammed, snapping Linda out of her trance. "Oh my god, THEY'RE HERE!!!," Ginger yelled. "Thanks Ginger, I think all of River Run knows that now." Linda couldn't help but smile at her best friend of 55 years. Ginger pounced on Becky as soon as they walked through the door. "Hi, you must be Ben. I am Becky's Aunt Ginny." Ginger shook Ben's hand vigorously. "Aren't you Ginger Metcalf? Honey, you didn't tell me that your Aunt Ginny was THE 'Aunt Ginny'. Sorry, Mrs. Metcalf, you must think I am a weird-o, but my family is originally from Cleveland & I grew up with my mom watching The Aunt Ginny Show." "Well, aren't you the sweetest thing." Ginger leans over & whispers to Becky, "I like him already, sweetie." Linda steps forward & extends her hand, "Hello, Ben, I am pleased to meet you." "I have been anxious to meet you, Mayor Havel" "Please call me, Linda" "Alright, Linda, I feel as though I know you already, Becky speaks of you often & very highly." Ginger noticed the look of absolute shock on Linda's face. "So Ben, what is it that you do? & How did you two meet?," Ginger was trying to keep the conversation going. "I am an attorney & I met Becky while she was visiting Billy Hailey, we are associates in the same law firm." "Goodness, it's been years since I've seen little Billy Hailey" "Ginger, he is hardly little anymore," exclaimed Linda. "Well, everyone will get a good look at him next week at my wedding, he is flying in to stand up for me," said Becky, waiting for the reaction from her mom & Ginger. "You are most certainly not having a man for your maid of honor, Young Lady" "Ginger, if she wants Billy to stand up for her then that is what she will have. He has been her best friend their whole lives. He practically lived here." "But Linda." Becky looked at the grin on Ben's face, kissed his cheek & said "Welcome to the family!!"
