Tommy 7 |
Samantha wasn't sure what to think of Tommy Metcalf after they parted company, but she liked how being around him made her feel. She was pretty excited about the date because she wanted to know more about her hero, Jeff Metcalf. But as she sat there looking into Tommy's gorgeous eyes, she found herself curious about him and what made him tick. She found out the most important things, he is a very kind & caring man. She stepped out of the shower, drying off & putting on a pair of sweat shorts & an Indians T-Shirt. Sam was interrupted from her daydreaming by the sound of Lindsay's voice. "There is a message here for you from Derrick, Sam," Lindsay informed her. Lindsay Parker was the total opposite of Sam, their attire now spoke volumes, Lindsay had on a frilly, lacy nightie. She knew nothing of baseball or baseball players, in fact it bored her to tears. Sam looked at her brother's tall, lanky girlfriend. "What? How did he even know I was here?" Sam hadn't told anyone but her mom & dad & work where she was going. She needed to get away from everything, especially Derrick, for a few days. "He must have talked to someone from the paper, I doubt everyone knows we broke up." Lindsay shook her almost too blonde head. "I never did hear why you two split up." She settled down on her bed in the hotel room. "You always seemed so in love." Sam really didn't want to discuss her relationship with Lindsay, besides she wanted to go back to daydreaming about Tommy & thinking about Derrick was not conducive to happy thoughts. "We just wanted different things in life." Sam looked over at Lindsay, who was now engrossed in a magazine with herself on the cover. So much for the interest, I guess. Sam ended up drifting off to sleep thinking about the man of her dreams, Tommy Metcalf. |
