| Joey sat in his room, watching the door. Every once in a while the knob would turn half-way and come back to normal. Shadows could be seen underneath it, but he wasn't sure whose. After a few minutes, the door creaked open and Justin walked in. He walked over to the bed and sat down. "Are you with JC?" "Why?" "He's telling everyone the two of you are in love. Isn't he going to mad if we are together?" "I'm not in love with him. I'm not capable of love." "Oh, ok. So, we can still... ya know?" "Sure, but I need to tell JC what's going on." "Right now?" "I probably should." "But I want you now." Joey stood up, but turned around when Justin touched his arm. "You can be on top." "Well, I have to tell him right after, ok?" "Sure." Joey crawled on top of Justin, kissing his lips as they undressed each other. Suddenly, Joey shot up. "I have to tell him now." "Fuck me!" "I don't want to go behind another person's back." "Fine, see if I care. I don't need you." Joey walked towards the door, looking back to see Justin slip his hand into his pants. He left the room and went for JC's, ignoring Justin's moans. Joey knocked on the wood door which opened to reveal a very happy JC. "Hey, Joe. Come in." "No thanks. I just wanted to tell you something about us." "What about us?" "I don't know if it's going to work." A look of dread came over the carefully sculpted face. It felt like his face had been shoved into a couch cushion. His eyes watered as he remembered strong hands keeping him from struggling. "It has to work." "No, I don't think it can. I'm not really ready for this." "But, you said you loved me." "Yeah well, I said I loved Lance." "You... you..." Canned laughter filled his ears as the young man dropped to his knees. "JC? JC are you gonna be ok?" Joey bent down to see the face, wet with tears. "I need to go. Justin's waiting for me." He walked into the room he had been in before, leaving the crying man in the hallway, slumped against the doorframe. He was alone until Lance came down the hall to see him. "JC!" The blond ran over, lifting him up as best as he could. "What happened?" "Joey doesn't love me." "Joey doesn't love a lot of people." JC leaned on the younger man as he brought him over to the room Chris was waiting in. "Chris, Joey told JC he doesn't love him." "Oh, I'm so sorry man." "I need something to drink." JC began to leave the room. "Don't get drunk. That's not going to help anything." "I'll see you two later." JC left the room. "Chris, I'm scared for him. Why can't Joey stop doing this shit?" "I don't know, but I'm sure JC'll be alright. The security guards won't let him leave and how much could he actually have in his room?" "Ok. I just get scared." "I know. It's because you're a sweet person, honey. He'll be fine." |
