Let's see..  My Alienware Laptop is having video issues and I put in a customer support request on their website.   I will see what they have to say.  It's totally unacceptable for an EXPENSIVE, TOP OF THE LINE, 3 MONTH OLD LAPTOP to fail!!!!  I'm quite ticked off about this and if they don't remedy the situation to my liking, they can cram it up their....    You get the point.

So I spent last night reloading an older Pentium III 500Mhz Dell Dimension computer I had lying around so I can use it in place of my failing laptop.  I consolidated some parts (extra RAM and stuff) from an older Pentium II 350 and now the PIII  500 is running pretty well.  It will do for Surfing the Web, Yahoo IM and Office (since I'm looking for a new job having these things available to me are REALLY important).  I might even push it's limits and load Steam onto it so I can play Original Half Life: Day of Defeat. . .  It might work...   I used to play the Original Half Life: Deathmatch on a Celeron 366 with 256MB of RAM and an 8MB Video Card so playing Day of Defeat (which is just a module for the Original Half Life: Deathmatch) on a PIII 500 with 384MB of RAM and a 32MB Nvidia TNT2 Video Card should work fine..  I shall test that theory out tonight!  *Can I say I'm just a Geek Like That?*

Marc IMed me yesterday and told he his ears were much better (he had had some MAJOR congestion that clogged them for several days) and that he'd call me last night, but I didn't hear from him.  I hope he is alright.  I know he has his 3 children with him for a week so he just may be extra busy with the kids. (not to mention kids tend to wear out adults  )  Hopefully he will call me sometime here in the near future.  I am really looking forward to hearing his voice for the first time.  So far we have only communicated via Email and Yahoo IM.  I have enjoyed every conversation we have had so far.  I really like Marc and hope I get to meet him soon as well  .

Yesterday it was Beautiful outside.  Too bad I was pretty much stuck inside at work and class all day.  Today looks a little rainy.  Hopefully the weekend will be nice.  Maybe Marc will take me out riding on his Honda GoldWing!!!  I would really like that.
