The Ups and Downs of Being a Female Computer Geek
Good/Bad/Undecided Day...

Well, I went to my job interview this morning and spoke to a Mr. Richard Chan.  I told him about my computer experience and I think he was impressed.  We'll see if I rate a 2nd interview.

Wow..  where do I begin on the main downfall of my day so far...   My (Jesus what do I call this guy now) "friend"  Marc and I met yesterday afternoon.  We had pie at Wall Street Diner and went to a park and walked and talked for a bit.  I really enjoyed it and thought Marc was nice and definately someone I would like to go out with again.  But apparently he didn't feel the same.

Even though he had told me he would make some time Saturday to see me again, I got an interesting email from one of his friends.   One of his lady friends emailed me and said Marc asked her to tell me that he really wasn't interested in me and to ask me no longer to contact him.  (So I'm kinda wondering if this is some hoax...  but..  how would she know my email address...)  So I am bit sad.  I thought Marc seemed like a great guy.  And I have NO idea what I did to rate someone to ask me never to talk to them again.. So I'm really *confused* and a bit frustrated and really sad, as I have spent a couple of weeks now just trying to get to the point where Marc would meet me.  It's a shame that I would expend that much effort for nothing.  Image

For whatever it's worth, I really like Marc.  I wish him well in the future and think it's a real shame I wasn't "the one" for him.  I still would be interested in remaining one of Marc's friends, if he so chooses, but I suspect that if he asked his friend to "get rid of me" then that won't be the case.. Image  For a man who wants to be dominant in his relationship with a lady, the least he could have done was have the backbone to tell me himself.
