Well I had a pretty descent day at work.  About 3PM I had a phone interview for a job out at Washington State University and I think I did well.  They are doing callbacks next week so we'll see.

In other news, my new friend Dave and I are going to the movies Saturday afternoon and I am genuinely looking forward to it.  I just hope I can get the allergic reaction I had to the Lubriderm I put on my face straightened out by then.  As of today, I still look like I have a sunburn, but atleast my eyelids aren't so puffy..  God, having that happen to me really sucked.. Especially when I'm aiming to make a good impression with Dave on Saturday..  Will just have to see how it goes.

Got my PlayStation 2 hacked out so I can copy games to the Hard Drive and play them!!!  I am happy about this.  Using a program called HDLoader, I can copy my games to it and not have to drag discs around with me when I want to take the console somewhere.  It also means I won't have to buy 2 copies of the same game just to be able to play when my roommates kids borrow my stuff. (which happens quite often)  Now I'm thinking of getting a much bigger hard drive..  Apparently you can use your PS2 to run homebrew applications to watch videos, play MP3s, and connect to the internet and let your system play streaming audio from shoutcast!  I've just found a few new uses for my old PS2 and definately want to check out the possibilities.  A site I have found useful reguarding running homebrew applications on my PS2 is http://www.exploitstation.com/  , lots of great info here!

My friends from SpokLAN ( www.spoklan.net , a group here in Spokane that play LAN Parties about once a month where you take your computer, hook it up to a bunch of other computers, and play videogames for extended periods of time) are planning to throw a Birthday LAN Party for my 30th birthday!!  I am so happy!  It's going to be an "over 21 only" type party where me and 12 or so other friends are going to the Martin Household with our computers to play cool games like Counter Strike Source and Battlefield 2 all night long!!  It's going down on Friday Evening, May 12th through Saturday Morning May 13th. (My birthday is actually the 15th, but it's the closest weekend)  We're having a Pirate Theme and Mrs. Timmeh a.k.a. Jorgi is making me a cake!!!  I haven't had a real birthday party in YEARS, so I think this will be pretty awesome!  Thanks So Much To The SpokLAN Geeks!!!  I Love You Guys/Gals!!!!
