I Like Weekends

Friday night I went to my buddy Jason's house and us gamers played in his "Serenity" roleplaying game.  My character and another character escaped from a ship that had a bunch of repair droids that were reprogrammed to kill us..  (how exciting)  And as our ship's medical person when my character got back to our ship she had to patch up a bunch of crew members...

Saturday I hung out at the house till around 12:30PM then went to the AMC Theater at RiverPark Square with my friend Dave to see "Mozart and the Whale," a movie filmed entirely here in Spokane about two people with Asperger's Syndrome who find each other and fall in love but have real issues because they don't do social interaction well.  It was a great movie.  I enjoyed catching up with Dave and telling him about my new job out at WSU and we "window shopped" and he bought me a Raspberry Godiva Chocolate Truffle!! (I'm such a chocaholic... and it was really gooooooood!)

Saturday after the movies I went to Joe's house and our gamer group "tried" to finish a D&D campaign that Richard is running.  My cleric almost got killed as we took on an Evil Djen, 2 Chaos Beasts, and a Vampire.  We played for almost 7 hours and managed to complete 1 room...  We have one more gaming session to complete the next and final room in this game.

On Sunday I washed clothes then talked to a new friend named John on the phone for 4 hours...  I was amazed that we talked that long...  He seems really nice.  After I got off the phone with John, I drove out to Post Falls to pick up some VCDs from a friend and hit Super Wal-Mart on my way back to town.  For some reason I was in the mood for s'mores so I bought all the stuff to make them.  I dropped in and visited with my friend Adam also before I headed back home.  Then I made s'mores in the microwave...  not as good as around a campfire..  but still goey and completely terribly full of sugar..  They were great.
