The Ups and Downs of Being a Female Computer Geek
Outcast Genius

One of my coworkers sent us this test on Cupid ( http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=9935030990046738815 ) to see whether you are a Nerd, a Geek, or a Dork.  These are My Results:

 Outcast Genius

52 % Nerd, 78% Geek, 52% Dork

For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in all three, earning you the title of: Outcast Genius. Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject). Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius. Congratulations!

And I think this is pretty much right.

Had a wonderful evening with my Boyfriend, Sean S. last night.  We played World of Warcraft on his two PCs at his apartment, he made us hamburgers, and then we snuggled!  It was nice.

I don't know what to think about  Sean S., he  is a very quiet, introverted person, and I, of course, am the complete opposite of that.  And, on top of that when I do get any kind of answer out of him, it's usually a non-commital, wishy washy answer.  He seems to think it's cute when he says "I Don't Know" or "Maybe" as an answer to what I would consider a "Serious" question. (Like I'm somehow supposed to know what the "real" answer is)   I enjoy the time I get to spend with him, but I wish he could actually be serious with me sometimes.  Not all the time, but I don't even know where I stand with him.  Being physical with him is great, but I wonder if he actually "feels" anything.  I guess I'm just being girly here, but I wonder if our relationship is pretty much as good as it will get right now or if it will be able to move forward?   For right now, I'm Wendy the confused due to a lack of information.
