Good News --  I finally got my Aunt Pam and Uncle H.L. on the phone the other day!!!!  They are safe and their house suffered only minimal damage.  ALSO My friends David and Roselyn, from New Orleans are safe with family in Alexandria, LA.

Bad News -- I still haven't found any of my other friends from New Orleans, LA or Biloxi, MS

Sean S. and I are now "just friends"   After talking with him about a week ago, I verified my suspicions that he wasn't as interested in me as he hoped he would be. . .  I like him, but we never "fell in love."  So we are now friends, and that is fine.  I still want to hang out with him and his friends.

Blah...   I'm just not having an up day I guess.  Had to take my car in for repair this morning, mainly because I had a flat tire yesterday when I got off work.  I had to get a new tire, but I also had the brakes checked and the oil changed.  The total bill should run me around $200 but it's worth it.

I am going on a Hiking trip this weekend with Gonzaga University's University Ministry.  It's a 15 Mile trek to the old Cataldo Mission in Idaho.  Basically it's one of those Christian get togethers. . .  I assume a lot of "preaching" will be involved, but I guess that's ok (though, to be honest I have never really been fond of being "preached" to).  I'm taking the trip more as a chance to get out and do something outdoors.  It will be the first hiking trip I've ever been on.  I need the exercise anyway.  I have to wash clothes and shop for a few things and pack tonight... yipee. . . .
