The Ups and Downs of Being a Female Computer Geek
Hooray for Adam!!!

My friend Adam called me yesterday at work and asked if it would be possible for me to take him to a job interview.  (I had to ask to get off early to get him to the interview)  He called me today and he got the job!!  Hooray for Adam!

Otherwise, this day has been as busy as most.  I am at lunch right now so I can eat and compose a short blog.  I am hoping to have a night to just rest tonight.  Yesterday just drug on and on and on. . .  I went to work, (as per usual) and did quite a bit, then I got Adam and took him to his interview.  I waited for Adam in the car.  I rescheduled an appointment I had and then Adam and I picked up Sean M., a guy I have to admit that I feel sorry for - but who taxes my patience, and we went to Cost Co.  We parused the store, bought a few things, and I dropped Adam back off at his apartment.  Sean M. and I  then went to Super WalMart where he did more shopping before I finally took him home too.  I got back at my place around 9:45pm, just as my roommate Cole was heading out the door to work.  It was a loooong day.

I almost wish I didn't have the heart I have.  I have a child like innocence where I still think the best of others and I give to everyone but almost noone returns my kindness.  I waste my time, effort, and feelings, sometimes on those who definately don't deserve it.  It kinda irks me.  I always want to help people or save them.  I'm quickly finding out that not everyone NEEDS my help and that I can't SAVE anyone, they have to save themselves.

But then again, I feel good when I make others happy.  It seems to be my purpose in life to serve.  Atleast it's something I'm good at.Image
