MCDST?
I had asked if my University would pay to send me to training to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), unfortunately they said "No". But after looking on Microsoft's website, apparently there is a rather NEW certification called a MCDST: Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician. Upon showing this to my Boss he has asked for links to Microsoft's website on it, and is considering asking his Boss to pay for ALL OF US in User Services to have the school pay for atleast the tests for this, and possibly some training as well. So, it looks like I will get a Certification in what I actually DO at work, but not the one I really wanted. I shall be happy though, because something is always better than nothing and free training in my field is a wonderful thing. In other news, I have REALLY been enjoying the time I have spent with Rob lately. He has come to visit at our house a few times and we are getting along well. I have decided, despite arguments from my friend Adam, to give Rob a shot at dating me. (My buddy Adam didn't want me to date Rob because he's not good-looking (atleast in Adam's eyes - but then again I can find the best part of almost anyone). Adam just doesn't KNOW Rob, as far as I can tell, Rob is a nice guy, who works hard and is able to take care of himself, and he cares about me based on WHO I AM. . . Hell, he even had the patience to let me go through my memory trunk the other night and listen to my stories about my life *for a few hours*, any man who can do that and still wants to date me and thinks I'm still interesting -- as opposed to boring -- is worth paying some attention to! 2005-10-27 23:18:53 GMT
