I'm looking forward to going home!  But at the same time, I'm wishing I could spend more time with Alan before I leave!  I went over to Alan's last night and met him in person for the first time.  He's great!  I enjoyed watching the Bears/Falcons football game with him and eating Pizza.  He reminds me completely of our old roomate and "House Brother," Mikey.  I hope I get to visit with Alan again before I go home, but time is short.  If I don't get to see him, I hope he still would like to get together sometime when I am back!  Perhaps we'll go Bowling!  Apparently, he's a pretty good bowler and I enjoy bowling (although I'm not that good . . ) so that is something we can do together!  I'm definately looking forward to spending more time with Alan and showing him "my world".  I can say that right off the bat, I definately CARE about Alan.

Also looking forward to visiting with my friend Adam and his son Robert on Tuesday for a little Christmas dinner/gift exchange.  Adam and Robert have become family to me the past months I have known them.  Adam is one of my "Adopt-A-Brothers".  Cole (my roommate) and Mikey (the old roommate) are also "Adopt-A-Brothers" to me.  Although I never had any real brothers, I always wanted them, so now I have some!

I get on the plane Thursday night to go home.  I have to change planes in Seatte, Las Vegas, and Houston.  Last time I went home I only had to change planes in Seattle and Dallas and I have gotten used to the airport in Dallas, I almost wish I were changing planes there again, cause atleast I know my was around!  My sister is supposed to pick me up from the airport and usually my sisters are on-time so I don't think I have too much to worry about, I just have to make sure I get on the appropriate planes. 

Our Household got SCREWED by DSHS!  Apparently they have my Roommate's banking info and since he is not working at the moment, they took his child support payment straight from his bank account!  Thus stealing over $500 from him, I say stealing because as of last week he and his Ex-Wife have a parenting plan and child support arrangement where he no longer has to pay for her child.  Part of that money was mine because I give Cole my half of the rent and bills and he then pays the landlord one check from his account and pays the bills.  He got it fixed though so we won't lose out.  His bank says they will cover the rent check until his GI Bill money comes in for next month.  Whew!  That had me worried for a minute. . . .
