I Fly Home Tonight!

Well, my plane leaves around 7:50PM tonight and I am uber-anxious!  Not about the flying in general but about my plane changes. (I explained this in a previous blog)  I didn't get much sleep last night due to my anxiousness.  I hate when I am anxious about something becuase I find it hard to calm myself down.  As my "temp roommate" Lyssa would say "Chicken With My Head Cut Off, Chicken Flail!!!"

The same is true with my mind, it is always thinking, pondering things, roaming in so many  different directions at once, and I can never seem to quiet my mind.  It's one of the reasons I talk so much because I am always thinking so much.  I guess, in a way, it's good, because it's probably the main reason that I am so smart.  It's also one of the reasons I like Music so much, becuase it's the only thing I can do to get my brain to relax a bit, I can get myself to think of the song only instead of 5 zillion things all at once.  I often listen to music on my MP3 player or think about a song or sing just to attempt to relax my brain.  I am taking my MP3 player with me, so perhaps it will help me calm down a bit.

I can't wait to see my family.  As my friend Alan suggested, I am going to give them ALL a great big Hug and tell them how much I care about them and miss them.  Alan has no family left and he understands how much it means to be told he is cared about, and how painful it is to regret not telling someone how much they mean to him.  I definately don't want to make that mistake in my life.

I can't wait till Christmas!  This is one of the first Christmas's in a loooooong time where I am as happy and anxious as I was when I was young.  Not because I think I will get anything, I expect nothing from anyone, but because I want to see my Niece and Nephew's eyes light up when they open their Christmas gifts from me. Image  I'm bringing my digital camera and will post pics up when I get back.

To eveyone who reads this, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  I hope this holiday season is wonderful for all of you!
