I was trying to find publishers who are willing to work with relatively new writers. I have completed my novel and it's pretty damn good. I've taught enought literature and read enough books to recognize good writing when I see it, even if it is my own wo k. The problem seems to be that, though you have a list of publishers, one, most are electronic publishers; two, many don't have mailing addresses, even though the web pages states they are looking for submissions; and, three, many are simply trying to se l the books they have already published. I am from Hawaii and recently moved to Arizona to attend college. When I was very young, the Honolulu Zoo was free. Every weekend I would take the bus to the zoo in the morning and visit the giraffes. Later, I would walk to the beach. At the end of th day, I would return to the zoo and say bye to the giraffes before returning home. Ever since, I have been a giraffe lover. I love your page and I will return if you update it from time to time. So far, it has been too hot for me to visit the Phoenix Zoo. Right now I work outside the home, but with the Lord's blessings, we have finally found a way for me to stay home full time beginning June 1999. I am very excited about this I felt that with me working full time outside the home I was neglecting my home, children and husband by always staying stressed. Now I am counting the days.
