Hagerstown, MD — Zumaya Publications of Burnaby, British Colombia, announces the release of Notes on the Windowsill, a paranormal romance novel by Hagerstown-based author Jennifer LB Leese.

“Jordan Raven has experienced ghostly encounters since the age of four. When a white pickup truck causes the early and tragic death of her to-be-fiancé, Martin, on their to-be-engagement night, Jorie watches in horror through the window from their favorite restaurant. Just as Jorie starts to get her life together, it spirals out of control and takes a turn for the worse when she learns that her mother is dying of brain cancer. She wonders how she will go on.

Day after day ghostly sightings of her fiancé, pacing footsteps in the hall, and voices grow more intense and more frequent. Can Martin comfort his true love from the afterlife? Will Jorie accept his need to communicate with her?

Only after visiting Madame Daluka, a fortuneteller, Jorie begins to realize just how out of sorts her life truly is. She is ready to give up and accept life as it is until Kelly Spencer enters her life…and she finds herself wondering if Madame Daluka will be able to fill in the blanks for her?”

"Romance, ghosts, and much more await the reader"
Jordan Raven has had dreams of dead people all her life. Her grandfather came to her in a dream when she was four, just after his death. It continues all her life, with one after another of her family visiting her dreams and giving her cryptic messages. All these messages are leading her towards her fate, which is to find the love of her life and to all the secrets that her mother kept from her.--Judith Saul

In the blink of an eye two lives are changed forever!
Ms. Leese has written a beautiful and haunting love story that draws you in from the first chapter to the last page turned. I can't compliment her enough on a job well done. Her story had me riveted, and eager through my tears to finish…yes tears that I could not help but shed in joy as well as sadness. If you are in the mood for a truly touching and heart felt read, then I invite you to read, "Notes on the Windowsill" The best way to describe this story is to say that it's a "Gift" and a testament to love.--Charlene Smith
