This site was developed by Elvin McFerrin in support of the Warren Central softball program. The site was initially created in 1999 and has undergone numerous structural and format changes leading up to its present design.
The site is hosted freely at http://oocities.com. However, the free service also means that the site is cluttered with ads posted by Geocities as a term of agreement.
The web site has been designed using Adobe GoLive software and takes advantage of drag and drop components to provide a consistent look throughout the site and automatic updating of common informational items, such as: menus, favorite links, banners and team logo. These components are located in the component directory as HTML files.
Other software applications may be used to update the site. However, if the software does not provide for automatic updating of affected pages through use of components it will be necessary to modify each affected page individually.
