The Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society is part of District 3 in the Garden Ontarion-Ontario Horticultural Society Ontario Horticultural Association which was formed in 1906.The Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society is subject to the Constitution of the OHA and the provisions of the Horticultural Societies act, R.S.O. 1980, c.204. This organization gives guidance and support to all it's members.

The Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society meets every 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. , at the Napanee District Secondary School, Room D17, unless otherwise specified.

Wednesday January 18, 2006 Harold Bentley Will talk to us about soil, fertilizers, etc. This is our regular meeting at the Napanee District Secondary School on the Belleville Road in Napanee. The meeting starts at 7 pm in classroom D17.-
Wednesday Feburary 15, 2006 Paul Hicks Will talk about his favourite topic: bees. This regular meeting will be held in Classroom D17 of the Napanee District Secondary School starting at 7 pm.
Wednesday March 15, 2006 Jane Murphy Tonight we have the opportunity to hear from Jane Murphy who is a past president of the Kingston Horticultural Society. Jane will tell us about her involvement in the LeMoine Point Native Plant Nursery, starting at 7 pm in the Secondary School's classroom D17.
Wednesday April 19, 2006 Barb Roch One of our members, Barb Roch, will tell us about medicinal plants and herbs at our regular meeting in classroom D17 at the Secondary School. Start time will be 7 pm.
Wednesday May 17, 2006 Garden Tour May 17 - This is the first of our seasonal garden tours. We start with a visit to the LeMoine Point Native Plant Nursery. If you need a ride, please meet in the parking lot of the Napanee District Secondary School on the Belleville Road between 6 and 6:30 pm.
Wednesday June 19, 2006 Summer Pot Luck Supper Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society's summer pot luck supper at the Macpherson House at 180 Elizabeth Street in Napanee, starting at 6 pm. You are more than welcome to tour the garden before or after supper if you wish. Please bring a plate, cup and cutlery along with something to eat to the supper.
Wednesday July 19, 2006 Garden Tour This is the date for our second garden tour of the season. We will be visiting the new John Parrot Centre on Bridge Street West in Napanee, starting at 7 pm.
Wednesday August 16, 2006 Annual Barbeque At Larry's Larry has kindly offered his home on the Palace Road for our annual barbeque, starting at 6 pm. Please bring your plate, cup and cutlery. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided but a salad, relish or desert to round out the meal would be much appreciated. Directions to Larry's will be provided closer to the day.
Wednesday September 20, 2006 Member's Night- Your Summer Experiences September 20 - We are back in classroom D17 at the Napanee District Secondary School for our regular meeting, starting at 7 pm. Everyone is encouraged to tell the group about the summer's successes in the garden.
Wednesday October 18, 2006 Sandra Bedwell of Selby will be on hand to speak about Worm Composting Our regular meeting will be held at 7 pm in classroom D17 of the Secondary School. The speaker will be announced in the fall.Speaker TBA
Wednesday November 15, 2006 Annual Meeting & Guest Speaker Nancy Cole-Perennials in Containers This is the Lennox & Addington Horticultural Society's annual meeting, scheduled for 7 pm in the Secondary School's classroom D17. This is the evening when a review is made of activities during the year and a few plans are made for next year.
Wednesday December 6, 2006 Christmas Pot Luck You are very welcome to join the Horticultural Society's annual Christmas pot luck supper, scheduled to start at 6 pm. The supper will be held in the hall of Grace United Church, on the corner of Bridge Street West and Robert Street. Please bring a plate, cup and cutlery along with something to eat to the supper.
