Buffy Summers- The Slayer. The vampires greatest enemy. The Slayer came to Sunnydale, California shortly after she was first called. She spent the begining of her slaying career in Los Angelas where she fought vamps, burned down her school gym and lost her fist Watcher. Finding a comfy home on the Hellmouth she met up with watcher Giles and a new band of friends who would fight side by side with her in the pursuit of evil. Despite her fated job of slayage all Buffy ever wanted(wants)is a normal life. She hasn't gotten it yet, falling in love with a souled vampire, then sending him to hell after he loses his soul, she's had quite the trial with love. After parting ways with Angel(said souled vamp)Buffy meets up with a seemingly normal guy...turns out he was part of an unethical military demon hunting organization(The Initiative). Poor gal is never gonna' get the normal, eh?

Willow Rosenberg- Net girl, resident Wicca. Once the shy, awkward and somewhat nerdy research girl, Willow has come into her own. Slaying side by side with the Slayerettes(a term she coined)Willow has gone through many trials and tribulations. Especially in love, a stint with an internet demon, a brief hurtful affair with her best friend Xander, the fated love of a werewolf and a new relationship with fellow witch Tara. Not to mention that it was also Willow who gave Angel back his soul. She has definitely outgrown her persona of the shy and fumbling school girl most certainly as her confidence in her craft as grown.

Xander Harris- King of Cretins, Donut guru. Terminally searching for his purpose Xander has always been a valuable asset to this particular team, even if he doesn't quite know it. After all wasn't it Xander who brought Buffy back to life after the Master killed her in season one? Xander himself has ridden the rocky road of love also(a reoccuring Scobby theme?), having crushed on the Slayer herself, hooked up with lifelong enemy Cordelia Chase, a one night stand with a rogue Slayer, faltering kissage with Willow, and a relationship with a former vegence demon. But will Xander ever come into his own? It's been said that season five will be the year of Idiot Jed.

Rupert Giles- The singing ex-Watcher/librarian.

Dawn Summers- The suddenly appearing little 'sis-not quite what she should be. Pretty much nothing is known about this character yet as the new season has yet to start. Just rumors and speculation. It's said that she'll appear as a little sister to Buffy, and it'll seem as if she was always there. She's an offering from the PTB sent to Buffy for protection. Not exactly a person aparently but a source of energy. Eh, who knows...guess we'll find out soon enough.

Anya- Vegence never tasted so good, then she was turned human.

Riley Finn- Smitten with the Slayer and left with out his army.
