Letter from Lani.
Dear Ladies,
First of all, I’d like to say I’m very
excited about creating this website and delighted you decided to drop by.
This is probably the fourth website I’ve
created this year. Most of them were to
promote my writing and editing skills. I
started again today with that purpose in mind.
And then I thought “I really don’t want to do this”. I don’t want to put so much energy and time
into creating something that exists solely to make money. Instead, I want to create something that
might benefit other people and also me (instead of just my bank account!). Really, when you think about it, the state of
our bank accounts is the very last thing we should be worried about. I know it’s hard when the bank account is a
little less healthy than we would like.
Believe me, I know, I’ve been there -- wait a minute, I’m still there!! But
perhaps it’s then, most of all, when we should stop fretting about money and
start thinking about what we really want out of life.
That said, you will notice there are
some links to the services I provide and the goods I have on eBay. I am sorry about then, but I do have children
to feed, so the “money” side of things had to get a little look in. But it sure does feel good delegating it a
few small corners, instead of giving it pride of place.
I really hope some other ladies can
get involved with this website. It’s my
goal to provide a place where Australian and New Zealander Christian women can interact
with each other. Let’s get some good
Christian fellowship happening!
