The Clues

There are two different maglev transport rides to Jungle Island.

One maglev comes from Temple ("Arrival" ) Island.  The other comes from Spike Island.

There is also a walkway on land which will get you to the idol.

CAUTION!!  Spoilers After This Point!!

There is an elevator inside the idol.  There are two ways to get into it.

There are three, not two, levels you can reach from the idol elevator.

When you approach the idol from the front walkway, there is a footbridge.  At the end of the bridge are two round things on posts.  One of them does something.  Click on it.

Once inside, you will be on the elevator.  If you came in through the walkway, you will be at the mid-level position of the idol elevator.

If you came in on the maglev from Spike Island, you will be at the lower position.
